Kick Off event was a blast tonight, thanks to all of you who attended. I spoke with a gentleman who just came to San Francisco about 10 months ago and he mentioned that he loved the city but why is it so expensive? I told him we have limited land space here and the building and construction is monitored heavily which enables high rents for landlords. The we have property taxes that owners must pay and of course gets passed onto the tenants. Why is it such a beautiful city does not build more to keep up with demand? I hear we are limited on land and space, but when I drive around the city I see plenty of space to build upon.

We need a representative who believes and will to fight for:
Living Wage
Equality Rights
Seniors
Education
Government transparency and accountability
Affordable housing
Labor
Taxes on the 1%
Discrimination needs to go away!
